SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Alyssa Nakken, who became the first woman to coach on the field in a major league game when she worked first base for San Francisco in April 2022, has interviewed for the Giants managerial vacancy. The 40-team tournament, which runs from July 8-15 at the University of California at Sacramento, is the brainchild of Homeless World Cup Foundation. Fahrudin Muminovic represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at the 2019 Homeless World Cup in Wales. This is the first time the Homeless World Cup will take place in the U.S. There are two different fields of play, the World Cup, which consists of both men's and co-ed teams, and the Women's World Cup, featuring women-only matches. The final match will be held July 15, five days before 32 teams take the field for the 9th annual FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

I have weekly team and one-on-one meetings with colleagues, but apart from those and task-related messages, we don't interact much. I'm not sure how much my team members communicate with each other, but I imagine they have similar experiences. The good news is there are plenty of simple things you can do to help you and your team form social bonds and mitigate your collective feelings of loneliness. Noonan suggested setting aside a couple of hours each week where team members do their own work over video together.
